Editorial Policy
At Questoy, our database is built on accuracy, objectivity, and transparency. This policy outlines how we curate, verify, and maintain our visual checklists.
1. Data Accuracy & Sourcing
We strive to provide the most accurate checklists for designer toys and collectibles. Our data (series names, character attributes, release dates, and rarity ratios) is cross-referenced through official manufacturer announcements, trusted collector communities, and hands-on physical verification. Secret or hidden variants are only added once confirmed by verified unboxings.
2. Visual Standards
We prioritize visual clarity. All archival images are standardized, optimized, and hosted on our independent edge network. We focus on showing the actual physical product and its accessories, stripping away misleading marketing graphics to provide a pure reference tool for collectors.
3. Independence & Monetization
Questoy maintains a strict separation between our database and our retail operations. We do not accept sponsored entries, paid database placements, or manufacturer compensation to alter rarity data. The core database at questoy.com is strictly for educational and tracking purposes. Our secondary-market retail operations are housed entirely separately at shop.questoy.com.
4. Corrections & Updates
Toy databases are living ecosystems. If you spot an error regarding a character name, missing variant, or incorrect attribute, we want to fix it. Please contact our database team at support@questoy.com with verification photos, and we will update the archive within 48 hours.
